The portal  BestStartup.eu has recognized Advanced Nanotechnologies as one of the best nanotechnology startups in Spain. This portal values the innovative potential of each of the startups, their potential growth, management and impact they can have on society.

Advanced Nanotechnologies, created in 2012 by Antonio Onteniente and Enric Bertran, has established itself as one of the most important suppliers of coatings and surface treatments based on nanotechnology and nanomaterial in Barcelona. In addition, they work on R&D projects for the development of new products and anti-fogging, low-friction or anti-scratch solutions that can be applied to a wide range of materials.  They also commercialize nanotechnology products such as high-vacuum machines, which make it possible to provide parts of a length of 1.5 meters with better characteristics, and other solutions, such as film filters with anti-fogging lenses.

“Throughout our years in operation we have been gaining experience in the industrial world by offering nanotechnology services to customers in many different industries, mainly in the automotive, optical, chemical, printing and sports sectors,” adds Antonio Onteniente. 

“We offer high-quality nanotechnology coatings capable of modifying the surface of our customers’ products to provide advanced features. Our capabilities include expertise in nanomaterials, nanoparticles and nanophotonics,” explains Onteniente.

The company has four patents, two related to its anti-fogging products, another on its wear-resistant coating and a final patent on its heatable coating technology.
